More a diary entry than a blog, I have quite a few performing dates in the next month, which is fairly unusual for me these days, along with a bunch of speaking gigs. I’d love people to come along, end-of-winter gigs can be a bit dreary if they’re lonely!

Wednesday 21st Feb – this cool gig with brilliant Doreen Foster from Black Cultural Archives about Lambeth and Libraries and why libraries are so important to every community, for the Lambeth branch of the Women’s Equality Party.
Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th Feb – Learning To Swim in the Abyss – a new solo show at Omnibus Theatre as part of the #96Festival, about death, mortality, life, joy – an attempt a fully improvised and mindful show(!), (with brilliant BSL interpreter Jacqui Beckford on Tues 27th) : booking info, interview, blog about the ideas
Thursday 8th March – Money in the Morgue is published! Hardback, ebook and unabridged audiobook, read by me. (It’s also International Women’s Day and my dad’s birthday. He would have been 97.)
